Patrick Daly serves as Chief Business Officer at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, where he leads enterprise growth and strategic alignment across the organization to meet evolving global healthcare needs. 

Patrick Daly brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience at the intersection of healthcare, entrepreneurship, and innovation. As Chief Business Officer at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies (Terumo BCT), he leads enterprise strategy and growth initiatives, focusing on integrating data, software, and services into the company’s medical technology solutions. His work supports Terumo BCT’s mission to expand access to safe, effective blood and cell-based therapies worldwide.  

Patrick’s career blends startup grit with Fortune 500 insight. Before joining IQVIA, he founded and led Cohera Medical, Inc., guiding the company from inception through commercialization and multiple rounds of financing. Cohera was named Company of the Year by the Pittsburgh Technology Council, and Patrick was recognized as CEO of the Year and a three-time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. 

Prior to joining Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, Patrick led the MedTech Global Data franchise at IQVIA, serving as Global Vice President and General Manager. There, he helped create innovative, data-driven solutions for the life sciences industry, enabling customers to navigate regulatory, clinical, and commercial challenges more effectively.  

Patrick also spent over 15 years at Johnson & Johnson in senior leadership roles across the U.S. and Asia Pacific. He applied Six Sigma principles to enhance stakeholder engagement and earned J&J’s Corporate Standards of Leadership Award. 

He has served in prominent industry leadership roles, including Chairman of AdvaMed Accel and a seat on AdvaMed’s Executive Board. He is currently an Independent Board Director at BioStem Technologies and a Senior Advisor to Pappas Capital, where he supports early-stage life sciences companies.  

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Area Studies. He is a founding board member of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, which has raised over $52 million in scholarships for Gold Star children. On a personal note, Patrick is a lifelong runner and recharges during time spent in the outdoors hiking and swimming.
