Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is one of three companies comprising the Terumo Corporation (TSE: 4543) based in Tokyo, Japan. We align our ESG priorities, strategies, and processes with Terumo Corporation’s sustainability vision. The group’s leadership and support allow us to deepen our impact while we continue to localize our sustainability efforts.

Sustainability in action: FY24 highlights

  • 22% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from FY23 to FY24
  • 20% of electricity is from renewables​
  • 8% reduction in Scope 3 emissions per unit of revenue from FY18 to FY24 ​
  • 31% reduction in water use per unit of revenue from FY18 to FY24​
  • 81% recycling rate globally ​
