Our blood additive solutions are manufactured at the Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies facility in Larne, Northern Ireland, and distributed to customers in more than 100 countries every year.

  • Connectors and solution bags are designed to be easy to connect, so that device operators can move on quickly to their next process steps.
  • Solutions come in various combinations of bag sizes and configurations.
  • All solutions listed below are available in DEHP-free bags.

What we offer

ACD-A is an anticoagulant that can be used with our Trima Accel and Spectra Optia systems.

To help customers reduce waste and cost, ACD-A is available in volumes appropriate for both collections and therapeutic apheresis and is packaged to connect easily to our collection sets.

Plus: Correct Connect™ Apheresis Connection System safety enhancement
Created to prevent misconnections with standard luer or other connectors used in apheresis, our Correct Connect system establishes a unique connection modality for each solution. This is available on disposable sets and ACD-A solutions used with Trima Accel.

T-PAS+, our Terumo platelet additive solution, is used by blood centers to optimize platelet storage conditions. This solution can be used with the Trima Accel, Reveos, and TACSI systems, plus the Mirasol™ Pathogen Reduction Technology (PRT) System.

T-PAS+ is available in a wide range of volumes for cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
