LAKEWOOD, Colo.—November 8, 2013—The Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) has honored David Perez with the 2013 Visionary Award. Mr. Perez, who serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at Terumo BCT and Chairman of the Global Blood Management Business at Terumo Corporation, was recognized last night at CBSA's 2013 Annual Awards Dinner.
The event, held at the Denver Marriott City Center, is designed to showcase and honor individuals and companies who have made a significant impact on Colorado's bioscience industry, and included more the 200 industry leaders.
The Visionary Award is a special honor designated for CBSA's 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Mr. Perez was the sole recipient, selected from an elite group of bioscience leaders in Colorado.
Mr. Perez was selected in recognition for his contributions to the industry as Terumo BCT's president and as an active member in a number of organizations at the state and national level.
Mr. Perez has a reputation as a dedicated leader and visionary for the industry, continually looking ahead to build the bioscience industry.
Mr. Perez served on the CBSA Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013 and continues to be closely
involved with the association.
