Trainer Education Offered for the Spectra Optia^® Apheresis System and COBE^® Spectra Apheresis System
This three- or four-day class (three-day class is Tuesday through Thursday and four-day class is Tuesday through Friday) gives experienced apheresis operators the opportunity to receive in-depth system insights and practice training with a Terumo BCT certified trainer. The course is designed to help your institution become more self sufficient, improving your operational flexibility and reducing future training costs. You will have a full understanding of the required amount of information as well as the tools available for your in-service training program. At the conclusion, you will undergo a final practicum where you will develop and demonstrate your system knowledge.

Potential classes to be held are COBE Spectra (therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE), mononuclear cell (MNC), red blood cell exchange (RBCX) or Depletions) or Spectra Optia (TPE or MNC collection). Class types will be scheduled depending on interest. If a class title is listed, this is the scheduled class for the respective dates.

COBE Spectra MNC Training Intended for Dendreon Collections
This is a three-day class that introduces the operator to essential information and skills related to the configuration and operation of the COBE Spectra system. It includes direct training from an instructor, as well as hands-on experience using the MNC or AutoPBSC collection application and provides relative information for Dendreon collection apheresis staff.

COBE Spectra AutoPBSC Training Intended for Argos Collections – One Day Training
This is a one-day class that introduces the operator to essential information and skills related to the configuration and operation of the COBE Spectra system. It includes direct training from an instructor, as well as hands-on experience using the AutoPBSC collection application and provides relative information for Argos collection apheresis staff.

Spectra Optia MNCTraining Intended for Argos Collections – Two Day Training
This is a two-day class that introduces Operators, experienced with Spectra Optia TPE procedures, to the Spectra Optia MNC protocol. It includes direct training from an instructor, as well as hands-on experience with the Spectra Optia MNC collection application and provides relative information specific for the Argos collection.
